The writer of Hebrews sketches out a hope that is not random or misplaced. True hope for our healing and salvation comes by trusting in the person of Jesus. Hope in Jesus anchors our souls, our mind, will and our emotions.

Vessels of Hope
Christians believe that we are created to be vessels of hope. As we live in the benefits that come from hoping in Jesus, we can pass this hope onto others. It’s incredible to think that we don’t have to have all the right answers in order to be able to comfort and support others on their journey. As we receive comfort from God, we are able to comfort and offer real hope to others. Check out 2 Corinthians 1:

Right now, take a moment and allow your body and your mind to become still as you read this scripture from Corinthians. Is there someone you know who needs hope today? Someone who you can pass on the hope that God has given you?
Today make a a choice to allow your thinking to be shaped by hope.
Not a random, abstract hope. But a powerful permanent hope based on the love and person of Jesus Christ.
