Verse 9 says: "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This promise is simple but powerful. It clarifies and confirms that all we have to do is speak the truth, that Jesus is Lord, and let that truth permeate into our hearts too. From that point on, we are saved. How amazing is that?

Jeremiah 29: 11 says: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

This means that no matter who you are, where you come from, or what your background is, God is inviting you to follow Him and partake in His abundant promises.
Try to make a habit of reading over Bible verses with encouraging promises from God in. Here are a few to get you started:
1. "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." - Matthew 6:33
2. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19
